Mill Street
In the winter of 2002, Mill Street Brewery opened the doors of its little red brick brewery in Toronto’s historic Distillery District. Born from an earth-friendly philosophy, Original Organic Lager was soon revealed to world - the first ever organic beer brewed in Canada.
Not long after, curious craft drinkers were introduced to the impressive Tankhouse Ale, a uniquely flavour-forward brew for its time.
Exceeding the capacity of its modest brewhouse, in 2006 Mill Street made the decision to expand their facilities, converting the original brewery space into a brewpub.
In 2012 Mill Street Brewery enthusiastically leapt onto on Ottawa’s vibrant craft beer scene, opening a second brewpub in a historic old gristmill on the banks of the Ottawa River.
Preserving their passion & dedication to their craft, Mill Street Brewery embraces a thirst for pushing the envelope. Their ever-expanding portfolio now includes over 60 unique beers, earning over 100 brewing awards, including 3-time Canadian Brewery of the Year.
